Computers
All Quincy library locations have public access computers available. A library card is not required to use a computer.
All computers are available on a first come, first served basis.
Computers designated for children are for the exclusive use of children up to age 12 and their accompanying caregivers.
Computers in teen areas are for the use of teens only.
All computers shut down 15 minutes before location closing time.
WiFi
Free wireless internet access is available at all locations. Go to your device’s WiFi settings, and click ThomasCranePublicLibrary.

Printing & Copying
Printing and copying services are available at all library locations. You can print from any of our library computers or use our Email to Print service to print from your own device remotely.
Black and white printing is $0.15 per page, and color printing is $0.40 per page. Cash or Credit are accepted at the Main Library and North Quincy branch. The Adams Shore branch and Wollaston branch are Cash Only.
Email to Print
To print via email, attach your documents to an email (accepted file types are .PDF and .JPG) and send to:
[email protected] (for black and white printing)
[email protected] (for color printing)
Files must be attached directly to an email; files as links in the body of an email will not print. Emails with multiple attachments will transmit as one print job with multiple files. An email subject or body is not required. Please note: Google files (docs, slides, sheet, etc.) will need to be downloaded as a PDF file prior to attaching to an email.
Picking up your print job
To release your print job from the print queue, please visit a print release kiosk at the Main Library or North Quincy branch and follow the posted instructions. Please see staff for assistance at the Adams Shore branch and Wollaston branch.
All unreleased print jobs will remain in the print queue for 2 ½ hours, after which time they will be automatically deleted.
Scanning
The Main Library provides free self-service scanning. Items can be scanned to a USB drive, email, smartphone, or Google Drive.
North Quincy provides free self-service scanning. Items can be scanned to a USB drive or email.
Adams Shore and Wollaston provide free self-service scanning to USB drive only.
Faxing
Main Library
Self-service faxing is provided through the scanning station at no cost.
Faxes can be sent to domestic numbers only.
Faxes can be sent, but not received.
Up to 20 pages can be faxed at a time.
North Quincy
Self-service faxing is provided through the copier at no cost.
Faxes can be sent to domestic numbers only.
Faxes can be sent, but not received.
Up to 20 pages can be faxed at a time.
