After Hours at the Crane: Night Bazaar
After Hours at the Crane is back. Join us Friday, October 30, 2026 from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at the Main Library on 40 Washington St. in Quincy Center for a creepy carnival featuring free food, entertainment, and games! This event is for guests 21+. A photo ID is required for the cash bar. No exceptions.
This year, TCPL transforms into the Thomas Crane Night Bazaar, a Victorian-themed carnival filled with magic and cursed curiosities. There will be free snacks, a cash bar, eerie tarot readings from Antonio Morales of It’s Tarot Time!, spooky face painting from Glitter Girls, mini games and prizes, crafts, and a creepy juggling performance from Clown Care!

We want to show off YOUR pumpkins!

Dress up in your Halloween costume a week early and go trick-or-treating for stickers at the Main Library! We’ll be showing off our costumes throughout the library as we visit all the different desks and departments to collect a different sticker at each stop. We’ll finish our trick-or-treating at the library’s Community Meeting Room where families with children ages 4 and up are invited to join us for a spooky storytime with storyteller Rona Leventhal. Children aged 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult on the walk through the library.
Come for our Sticker-Treat event and stay for a spooky storytime for kids ages 4 and up with storyteller Rona Leventhal!
Happy Ducktober! Come decorate and dress up a rubber duck for Halloween. This craft will be available all day (while supplies last), stop by the North Quincy Desk to ask for a duck to decorate!
