Now Accepting Donations
Too many individuals in our community are facing harsh weather without proper clothing. Donate your gently used winter clothing at the Main Library in Quincy Center at 40 Washington St. Your donation can provide warmth, comfort, and dignity to those in need.
Donations will be accepted in the Atrium of the Main Library. The public is welcome to browse and take what you need, no exchange required.
Any leftover items from the clothing drive will be donated to various local organizations.
DONATION GUIDELINES:
- Follow the “friend rule”: if you wouldn’t give the donation to your friend, don’t donate it!
- Items might be CLEAN and in GOOD CONDITION
- Priority items (all sizes):
- Coats & jackets
- Sweaters, hoodies & long sleeves
- Warm socks & boots
- Hats, gloves, and scarves
- Gently used blankets & other cold weather gear
All are welcome to browse the donations. Take what you need!
The Main Branch Library is wheelchair and mobility device accessible. The Library offers a public parking lot with accessibility parking spaces, automatic doors, and elevators.
