Summer Reading at TCPL takes place June 27 through August 31, with activities, events, and prizes for every reader. Summer Reading is a national public library event that challenges all ages to read for fun all summer long. Sign up in person at any TCPL location, or participate with us online using Beanstack. Let’s grow together this summer!

Join a Summer Reading Challenge

Summer Reading is open to all ages, with unique challenges for kids, teens, and adults.

Kids

Read & Bead

Stop by any TCPL location to pick up an activity sheet, brag tag and chain. Record your reading on the activity sheet, or online using Beanstack. For every hour that you read, collect new beads to add to your chain! Each completed sheet earns you a voucher for a free book at the Friends Bookstore.

Teens

Teen Challenges

Pick up a challenge card at any TCPL location, and win a small prize and an entry into our end of summer Teen raffle for every completed challenge. Challenges include checking out a book, getting a library card, & solving riddles. Visit the Main Library to choose your prizes from the prize bucket!

Adults

Summer Bingo

Bingo sheets are available at any TCPL location, or you can participate digitally with our online bingo sheet on Beanstack. Earn prizes, including stickers, vouchers to local attractions, & entries into our end of summer raffle (Grand Prize: Kindle Paperwhite Gen 12) with every completed BINGO!
