Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees of the Thomas Crane Public Library exists according to the provisions of Chapter 202 of the Acts of 1881 and Chapter 347 of the Acts of 1888. The board exercises the powers and authority and assumes the responsibilities delegated to it under these laws and according to its own bylaws.
There are six trustees appointed by the mayor for a term of one year. The Board of Trustees meets once per month, except for July and August. Check the events calendar for exact meeting dates and locations.
Meetings are open to comments following the formal agenda when time allows. Public comment on formal agenda items must be signed up for in the first thirty minutes of the meeting and members of the public may make a presentation of no more than five (5) minutes. Interested parties may submit written statements to the Board at [email protected]
